Worker App Terms

Worker App Terms

These terms apply to your use of the Enroute Worker app (‘the App’), provided by Enroute Tech Pty Ltd (ACN 670 736 562) (‘Enroute’, ‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’). By using the App, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the App.

How we handle your personal information, including your location, is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Last updated: 30 September 2026

1. Who the App is for

The App is for technicians and workers who do jobs for a workshop that uses Enroute (‘your workshop’). Your workshop adds you to its account. You can work for more than one workshop on Enroute.

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • The App is for use in Australia.

Your working relationship, whether employment or contract, is between you and your workshop. Enroute is not your employer, doesn’t assign your work and doesn’t pay you. Your workshop’s own policies also apply to you.

2. What the App does

The App lets you:

  • see the jobs your workshop assigns you, with their job cards and tasks
  • track the time you spend on each task
  • add photos, video and notes to jobs
  • collect sign-off signatures, including a customer’s name and signature
  • clock in and out
  • handle breakdown jobs your workshop has accepted: head out, arrive and finish

We may change, add or remove features over time.

3. Your responsibilities

  • Record your work, times and notes accurately.
  • Only collect a customer’s signature with their agreement, and only for the job it relates to.
  • Only take photos and video that relate to the job.
  • Use the App only when it is safe to do so.

4. Location

The App uses your phone’s location, including in the background:

  • when you clock in and out, your location and street address are recorded and can be seen by your workshop
  • on a breakdown job, from the time you tap ‘On my way’ until you arrive, your live location is shared with the driver and company who requested the help

While you are logged in, the App may collect your location in the background so it is ready for these moments. It is not sold or used for advertising. You can change location permissions in your phone’s settings, but clocking in and breakdown jobs won’t work properly without them. The Privacy Policy has the full detail.

5. Your account

  • Keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • Tell us or your workshop straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
  • You can delete your account in the App. Deleting it hides your account. Records your workshop relies on, such as job cards and timesheets, stay with your workshop’s account. The Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use the App to record false information, to access anyone else’s account or data, to interfere with the App or its security, or for anything unlawful. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.

7. Our App

Enroute owns the App and its content. These terms give you a personal right to use the App for its intended purpose while your account is active. You give us permission to store and use what you upload, such as photos, notes and signatures, to provide the App to you and your workshop.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes any rights you have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), including the Australian Consumer Law, that cannot be excluded.

Apart from those rights, and to the extent the law allows, the App is provided ‘as is’. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by inaccurate information entered into the App or by the App being unavailable.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms, if every workshop you work for removes you, or if we stop providing the App.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will let you know in the App or by email. Continuing to use the App after the change means you accept it.

11. General

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. If any part is unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Not enforcing a right straight away does not mean we give it up.
