Marketing
Marketing & Content Coordinator
About the Role
We're looking for a creative, hands-on marketer to plan and make the content and ads that bring workshops to Enroute. Enroute Tech is a small, growing Melbourne startup building software for the automotive industry. Our first product, Enroute Workshop, helps independent workshops run their whole day in one place: bookings, quotes, work orders, invoices and reports. You'll turn what we build into content and campaigns that get workshop owners to book a demo, starting with Enroute Workshop for independent mechanical, diesel, panel and auto electrical workshops, and later every Enroute product. At first you'll make content and run campaigns with guidance from the team. As you grow, you'll take over the planning: the content calendar, campaign ideas and ad tests. You'll work closely with the product team, with a weekly check-in to review results and plan the next week. We're looking for someone to start as soon as possible, and we're reviewing applications as they come in. The role is 2–3 days a week, with the opportunity to go full-time as Enroute grows. It's hybrid, split between our office, workshop visits and remote work. Students are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Plan and film content, on-site at workshops and in the office
- Edit short-form videos for our social channels
- Design daily and weekly posts, static graphics and ad creatives
- Create customer stories that show the value of our products
- Run and improve campaigns on Meta (Facebook and Instagram), LinkedIn and Google Ads
- Set up A/B tests on hooks, creatives and audiences, and learn from the results
- Track the numbers that matter: demo bookings, cost per lead and click-through rate
- Research winning content in our space and beyond, then turn it into ours and pitch new ideas
- Share a short weekly update on what worked, what didn't and what's next
- Join team stand-ups, share ideas with the product team and talk to customers to understand what matters to them
Requirements
- A creative mind, with a portfolio or examples of content you've made (uni, personal or freelance work all count)
- Basic filming and editing skills, using tools like CapCut, Canva or similar
- Basic knowledge of Meta Ads and how A/B testing works; we'll teach you the rest
- The ability to explain your ideas clearly, in writing and in person
- An eye for spotting winning content and working out why it works
- Commitment to grow with us; we'd love someone who can stay at least 6–12 months
Nice to Have
- Experience with LinkedIn Ads or Google Ads
- B2B or SaaS marketing experience
- Interest in cars, trucks or the automotive industry
- A driver's licence, which makes workshop shoots easier
Is This Role for You?
You'll love this if you…
- Get excited about turning an idea into a post or video the same day
- Like seeing your work tied to real numbers, not just likes
- Are comfortable walking into a busy workshop with a phone and a plan
- Want real ownership early, in a small team where your ideas get used
This isn't for you if you…
- Prefer a fixed brief and a long approval chain
- Want to only make content, or only run ads
- Are looking for a short-term gig
What We Offer
- A paid part-time role with super, paid leave and pay based on experience
- A path to a full-time role as Enroute grows
- Hybrid work: our office is in Dandenong South, but you won't need to be there every day
- Hands-on experience running real ad campaigns with real budgets
- A portfolio of shipped work you can point to
- Mentoring from the team and a clear path to owning marketing at Enroute
- Flexible days that can work around uni
Not sure you tick every box? Please apply anyway. The lists above describe the role at its fullest and very few people match all of it — if you are close, or coming from an adjacent background, we would genuinely like to hear more about you. Tell us your story and let us weigh it up together rather than ruling yourself out.
How to Apply
- 1
Share your work
Send a portfolio or 2–3 examples of content you've made. Uni, personal or freelance work all count.
- 2
Do a short trial task
Find one winning B2B post or ad from the automotive software industry, then show us how you'd remake it for Enroute Workshop. A rough sketch, script or mock-up is fine; we care about the idea, not polish.
- 3
Important: Include your CV, your content examples and your trial task in the same email.
Due to the high volume of applications, we will only contact candidates who are selected for an interview, but we will try to give every applicant feedback on their application. We appreciate your interest in joining our team.
